The dry season (December to March) is ideal. During these months, the weather is mild, and wildlife viewing is excellent as animals gather around water sources. If you’re hoping to see the White-Eared Kob migration, they typically move through the park from March to April and again from November to early January.

Periods to Approach with Caution

The wet season (May to October) brings heavy rains and potential flooding, making many roads impassable. While beautiful, conditions are very challenging for general visitation.

Boma National Park is remote and requires careful planning. We encourage responsible tourism to protect this unique environment.
