A 3-day Witnessing the Wonders of Badingilo

Day 1: Arrival in Juba

As you touch down in Juba, the vibrant capital of South Sudan, you’ll be warmly greeted by our experienced guide. They’ll escort you to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city or simply recharge.

Day 2: The Majesty of the Great Migration

After breakfast we shall drive from Juba to Badingilo or fly and arrive at a designated airstrip or entry point near Badingilo National Park. You will be warmly welcomed by our experienced local guide and transferred to your accommodation be it a comfortable tent offering authentic bush experiences. Take time to settle in and absorb the serene ambiance of the African wilderness.

In the afternoon after a refreshing welcome and a brief introduction to the park’s wonders, embark on your first captivating game drive. Our knowledgeable guide will navigate the varied terrain, offering insights into the resident wildlife. Keep an eye out for the graceful Nubian giraffe, various antelope species like white-eared kob, tiang, and reedbuck and the vibrant birdlife that graces the park.

We shall then have lunch as we organize for evening trip as the African sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues, enjoy a delicious dinner under a canopy of stars. Share your initial wildlife encounters around a crackling campfire, listening to the enchanting sounds of the nocturnal bush.

Day 3: Predators and Farewell to the Wild

Early Morning awaken with the dawn for an exhilarating early morning game drive, the optimal time to witness the sheer scale of the annual migration. Our guide will lead you to strategic vantage points to observe the immense herds of white-eared kob, tiang, and reedbuck as they traverse the plains. This awe-inspiring spectacle, the first or second largest of six million mammals of its kind globally, is an unforgettable experience.

We shall Continue your exploration after breakfast, focusing on areas where the migratory herds are most concentrated. Our guide will provide fascinating details about the behavior, ecology, and incredible journey of these animals.

In the Afternoon as you enjoy a final, memorable lunch at your camp, reminiscing about the incredible wildlife encounters of the past few days. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be transferred back to your departure point, carrying with you the indelible memories of the breathtaking migration and the untamed beauty of Badingilo National Park.
